GGD TR8 Pro Xbox Racing Simulator Package
The GGD TR8 Pro Xbox Racing Simulator Package brings real direct drive to console on a genuinely rock-solid rig. It is built around the Trak Racer TR8 Pro steel cockpit and a full Logitech RS control set, so Xbox racers get proper force feedback, a complete set of controls and a frame that does not flex, all in one package.
At its heart is the Logitech RS50, an 8Nm direct drive system licensed for Xbox as well as PC, with TRUEFORCE force feedback that turns in-game physics and audio into detailed haptics. Around it sits a complete control set: RS pedals with a clutch, an RS H-shifter for manual gearboxes, and the RS Shifter and Handbrake combo for sequential shifts and handbrake work. It all mounts to the TR8 Pro, a heavy steel cockpit rated for direct drive up to 30Nm.
This is the base package, and it is fully upgradeable. Everything listed below is your starting point. On this page you can upgrade the cockpit, wheel, pedals and other components, or add extras, to build the exact Xbox racing simulator you want. Start here, then step up individual parts whenever you are ready.

How the GGD TR8 Pro Xbox Racing Simulator Package compares to other racing simulator bundles
Most direct drive gear is PC-only, which has left console racers stuck with gear-driven or belt-driven wheels that soften the feedback. And the rigs those wheels bolt to often flex once the torque climbs, blurring what feel there is.
This package fixes both. The Logitech RS50 is genuine 8Nm direct drive licensed to run on Xbox as well as PC, with TRUEFORCE feedback and a complete control set covering H-pattern, sequential and handbrake. It all sits on the TR8 Pro, a heavy steel cockpit rated for direct drive up to 30Nm, so nothing moves under load.
It is the complete console rig, and it plays on PC too. Explore the rest of the Xbox Racing Simulators range or the full racing simulator packages lineup to compare.
Real direct drive on Xbox
Direct drive is the biggest feel upgrade in sim racing, and this package brings it to console.
The Logitech RS50 drives the wheel directly from an 8Nm motor, with no belt or gears to soften the signal, and it is one of the few direct drive systems licensed to run natively on Xbox as well as PC. You feel the front tyres load up, the moment they let go, and the surface underneath them, in real time.
Logitech's TRUEFORCE technology goes a step further, translating in-game physics and audio into high-definition haptics for detail you can feel through the rim. The three-piece system arrives pre-assembled, so you plug it in and drive.
A complete control set for every discipline
This package includes the full Logitech RS control line, not just a wheel and pedals.
The RS pedals bring a three-pedal set with a clutch for manual driving, while two separate shifting options cover everything: the RS H-shifter gives you a proper H-pattern for classic and touring cars, and the RS Shifter and Handbrake combo switches tool-free between a sequential shifter and a handbrake for rally and drift.
Every part is Logitech RS, so it works together across Xbox and PC without adapters, and it all mounts to the TR8 Pro with the included shifter mount upgrade kit.
A steel cockpit built like a tank
A direct drive rig needs a frame that will not move, and the TR8 Pro does not budge.
Built from heavy-gauge steel tube with a dual-supported no-flex wheel shaft, the TR8 Pro is engineered to hold direct drive wheels up to 30Nm and absorb up to 180kg of braking force without a hint of flex, so the RS50's feedback reaches you clean. The layout is compact at 580mm wide, with the Trak Racer RE2 reclining seat mounted on the cockpit's built-in brackets and slider for a tailored position.
Because the frame is rated well beyond the 8Nm base it ships with, the rig is ready to grow. Upgrade the wheel, pedals or wheelbase later, and the cockpit takes it in its stride.
Our expert take
“Real direct drive on Xbox has been the missing piece for console racers, and putting the RS50 on the TR8 Pro is the combination we like best. On the rig at our Dandenong showroom the steel frame stays dead solid, so every bit of the 8Nm TRUEFORCE feedback comes through clean. Add the full RS control set and this is a seriously capable Xbox setup that also plays on PC.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this package really work on Xbox?
Yes. The Logitech RS50 is licensed to run on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as PC, so the whole control set works natively on console. There is no workaround or adapter needed.
What is TRUEFORCE?
TRUEFORCE is Logitech's force feedback technology. Instead of relying on basic effects, it translates in-game physics and audio into high-definition haptics, so you feel far more of what the car and track are doing through the wheel.
Why are there two shifters?
They cover different driving styles. The RS H-shifter gives you a true H-pattern for classic, touring and manual cars, while the RS Shifter and Handbrake unit switches tool-free between a sequential shifter and a handbrake for rally, drift and modern cars. Together they cover every discipline.
Is 8Nm of direct drive enough?
Yes. For console and most PC racing, 8Nm of direct drive is a huge step over gear-driven and belt-driven wheels, with clear, detailed feedback and no fatigue over long sessions. The TR8 Pro frame is rated to 30Nm, so you can upgrade the wheelbase later without changing the rig.
Will everything work together out of the box?
Yes. The Logitech RS components are one ecosystem, and the RS50 system arrives pre-assembled. The TR8 Pro cockpit is pre-drilled for all major wheels, pedals and shifters, so you assemble the rig, connect it, and drive.
Can I use it on PC as well as Xbox?
Yes. The RS50 and the full control set run on both Xbox and PC, so you can play across platforms with the same rig.
Which seat is included, and can I change it?
The rig comes standard with the Trak Racer RE2 dual-side reclining seat, mounted on the cockpit's built-in brackets and slider, in your choice of Black, Black and Red or White. Its dual-side locking recliners hold the backrest at two points to remove flex under direct drive load. You can upgrade to other Trak Racer seats like the GT, Rally or TRS series on this page.
Can I change or upgrade the inclusions?
Yes. This is a base package and it is fully upgradeable. On this page you can upgrade the cockpit, wheel, pedals and other components, or add extras, to build the exact rig you want.

I've had the RS Pedals for about a month now and works great. I've added the RS clutch with the setup, too. Came in the typical Logitech box-all neatly arranged, fitted in the carboard cutouts. Instructions are very straight-forward (they were on the inside of the box lid). Using the G Hub, I've updated to latest firmware. I use the RS Pedals, along with the RS 50 System (PS/PC), RS Handbrake/Shifter (x2), mostly for GT7 & ACC. I plan to upgrade the brake springs for better feel. All in all, this product is great for entry to mid-level Sim Pedals.
Fired right up after connecting to the RS50 base. Super easy to adjust the amount of play.
High build quality at a competitive price. Great plug and play system for a sim racing hobbyist.
After my friend recently bought the Logitech Pro wheel and started his sim rig setup, I felt inspired to upgrade from my almost decade long ownership of a G920 and upgraded to the RS50 wheel and pedals… This was the best decision I’ve ever made. The amount of precision and power packed into such a small package is insane. Going back and forth from my ‘19 Veloster Turbo and this wheel/pedal setup feels seamless. It’s hard to put into words how realistic these wheel/pedals feel. You have to experience this for yourself. Stop thinking about buying an RS50… just do it.
Since receiving this pedal set I've had good experiences with it. They seem like a great pedal set but to be honest I can tell little difference between them my G923 pedals.
