Description

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

The GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2) steps flight simulation up to true force feedback, on both the yoke and the stick. It is built on a Trak Racer TR80S flight cockpit and a full MOZA aviation control set, so the whole rig moves and talks as one ecosystem, tuned in a single piece of software.

At its heart are two force feedback bases. The MOZA AY90 yoke base drives the controls with real aerodynamic loading for general aviation and airliners, while the MOZA AB6 6Nm base and its flight stick handle air and space combat. A modular MOZA throttle quadrant and all-metal rudder pedals complete a genuine do-everything setup, with force feedback that passive controllers simply cannot match.

This is the base package, and it is fully upgradeable. Everything listed below is your starting point. On this page you can upgrade the cockpit, controls and other components, or add extras, to build the exact flight simulator you want. Start here, then step up individual parts whenever you are ready.

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

  • MOZA MRP all-metal rudder pedals with a smooth rudder axis, hall-effect toe brakes and stepless angle adjustment
  • True direct drive force feedback on both the yoke and the stick, not passive springs, for genuine aircraft feel
  • One MOZA ecosystem tuned in MOZA Cockpit software, from the yoke and stick to the throttle and pedals
  • Fully upgradeable base package, backed by manufacturer warranties and Gamer Gear Direct's local Australian support

How the GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2) compares to other flight simulator bundles

Most flight setups, including many premium ones, use passive controls. Springs and dampers give you a centre point, but they cannot push back with the changing loads of a real aircraft, so you lose the feel of the controls loading up at speed or going light in a stall.

This package delivers real force feedback on both control types. The MOZA AY90 yoke and the MOZA AB6 stick are direct drive, so you feel the aerodynamic forces through the controls as the aircraft flies. Where our Flight Simulator Package (Stage 1) delivers a complete, precise setup with passive controls, Stage 2 adds true force feedback and a single MOZA ecosystem on a larger TR80S cockpit.

It is a flagship flight rig that still lets you fly everything. Explore the full flight simulator packages range to compare.

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

Real force feedback, on the yoke and the stick

Feel the aircraft through the controls, not just a return spring.

Force feedback is the single biggest step in flight realism, and this package puts it on both the yoke and the stick. The AY90 yoke base delivers 4.2Nm of roll torque and up to 90N of push-pull force, so the yoke loads up as speed builds, softens in a stall and lets you feel a trim change through your hands. The AB6 base brings 6Nm of direct drive to the flight stick for sharp, detailed combat feel.

Both bases use dual-servo direct drive with magnetic sensors, so the forces are smooth and precise with no notchiness. It is the difference between moving a control and flying an aircraft, and you can tune the strength of every effect in software to suit the aircraft and your preference.

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

A touchscreen force feedback yoke for aviators

The AY90 base and MFY Pro handle make a complete airliner and GA yoke.

The MOZA AY90 gives you 180 degrees of roll and 95mm of pitch travel through a 15-bit magnetic encoder, with an integrated control panel on the base for quick access to common functions. The MFY Pro yoke handle completes it with a 4.3-inch touchscreen for flight data and checklists, dual 8-way hat switches, two thumbsticks and 26 programmable inputs.

The handle uses a tool-free quick-release, so you can swap it in seconds, and its contactless hall-effect sensors keep every input drift-free. It is a serious yoke for Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane and any airliner or general aviation flying you throw at it.

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

A HOTAS, a modular throttle and metal rudder pedals

Everything you need for fast jets, helicopters and space, with airline-grade throttle control.

The MOZA AB6 pairs its 6Nm force feedback base with the MHG flight stick, a carbon-reinforced grip with a two-stage trigger, multiple hats and switches and over 25 inputs for combat and space. Alongside it, the MOZA MTQ throttle quadrant brings four axes and 23 controls, with swappable fighter, Airbus and Boeing lever modules and authentic detents for each aircraft type.

The MOZA MRP rudder pedals finish the set with an all-metal frame, a smooth rudder axis over 150mm of travel, hall-effect toe brakes and stepless angle adjustment. Whether you are landing an airliner in a crosswind or pulling hard in a dogfight, you have precise foot control.

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

One MOZA ecosystem on a rock-solid cockpit

Every control from one brand, on a frame built to hold force feedback.

Because the yoke, stick, throttle and pedals are all MOZA, they connect and tune together in MOZA Cockpit software, with one place for profiles, RGB and force feedback settings and no fighting between apps. It all mounts to a Trak Racer TR80S flight cockpit built from 80 x 40mm anodised aluminium profile, stiff enough to hold the force feedback bases without flexing, with a reclining seat on a slider and an included floor mat.

Because the cockpit is modular and pre-drilled, the platform grows with you. Add panels, upgrade a control or extend the frame down the track, and the rig takes it in its stride.

GGD Flight Simulator Package (Stage 2)

Our expert take

“The moment people try force feedback in our Dandenong showroom, they get it. The AY90 yoke loads up as you build speed and goes light as you approach a stall, and the AB6 stick makes combat flying feel razor sharp. Having both on one MOZA ecosystem, on a TR80S cockpit that does not flex, is as close to a real cockpit as most people will get at home. This is the flight rig we point serious simmers toward.”

- Tested and recommended by the team at Gamer Gear Direct's Melbourne sim racing showroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I fly with this package?

Almost anything. The AY90 force feedback yoke and MFY Pro handle suit general aviation and airliners in Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, while the AB6 force feedback stick is built for fast jets, helicopters and spacecraft in DCS World, IL-2, War Thunder and Star Citizen. The modular throttle and rudder pedals serve both.

What does force feedback actually add?

It lets the controls push back with the forces of the aircraft, rather than just a centring spring. You feel the yoke or stick load up as speed builds, go light in a stall, and react to trim and turbulence. It is the single biggest jump in flight realism, and this package has it on both the yoke and the stick.

How is this different from the Stage 1 flight package?

Both are complete do-everything flight rigs. The Flight Simulator Package (Stage 1) uses precise passive Turtle Beach controls on a TR40S cockpit, while Stage 2 steps up to real MOZA force feedback on both the yoke and the stick, a touchscreen yoke handle, a modular throttle and a larger, stiffer TR80S cockpit.

Does this package work on Xbox?

No, this package is configured for PC. The MOZA flight controls are PC-only devices, tuned in MOZA Cockpit software on Windows 10 and 11. If you fly on Xbox, look at our Xbox-specific flight bundle built around Xbox-compatible controls.

Do all the controls work together?

Yes. The yoke, stick, throttle and pedals are all MOZA, so they connect and tune in MOZA Cockpit software as one ecosystem. You set profiles, RGB and force feedback in one place, with no adapters or clashing apps.

Does it come with a monitor or screen?

No. The package does not include a monitor or monitor stand, so you can pair it with the screen you prefer. Monitor stands are available separately as an upgrade.

Can I change or upgrade the inclusions?

Yes. This is a base package and it is fully upgradeable. On this page you can upgrade the cockpit, controls and other components, or add extras, to build the exact flight simulator you want.
