Trak Racer Adjustable Keyboard & Mouse Tray for TR8 Pro & TRX
Pit commands, radio calls, checklists and every menu in between want a keyboard, and a racing cockpit is the worst possible place to put one. On a tube-frame rig it is worse again, because there is no spare rail to clamp a tray onto.
This is the tray built for exactly that problem. Designed for the TR8 Pro and the Alpine Racing TRX, it puts a 480 by 200mm keyboard tray and a separate 200 by 200mm mouse tray on adjustable elbows, on either side of the wheel or flight stick.
Laser-cut and finished in matte black to match the cockpit, it is the middle answer between clamping into extrusion you do not have and giving up floor space to a free-standing frame. It sits with the rest of the racing simulator accessories.

For the rigs the extrusion tray cannot fit
Trak Racer's keyboard trays split by what your cockpit is made of, and that is the whole decision. The extrusion tray clamps into 8mm T-slot and becomes part of the frame, which is elegant and completely impossible on a tube-frame rig, because there is nothing for it to grip.
The TR8 Pro and the TRX are tube frames. This tray is the version drawn for them: it bolts straight onto the cockpit using the chassis fixing points, so no rail, no clamp and no adapter is involved.
That is worth having over the free-standing alternative when floor space is tight or you would rather the tray moved with the rig instead of staying where the room put it.
Full-size board, separate mouse plate
The keyboard tray is 480 by 200mm, which takes a full-size board without the mouse fighting it for room, and the mouse plate is a separate 200 by 200mm surface rather than a shared corner of the same tray.
Adjustable elbows set the position, and the whole assembly mounts on either side of the wheel or flight stick. Left-handed, right-handed, or simply whichever side of the cockpit has the space.
Construction is laser-cut and the finish is matte black, which matches the cockpit rather than sitting on it as an obvious afterthought.
Choosing between the three trays
Trak Racer make three keyboard and mouse trays and all three share the same 480 by 200mm keyboard tray and 200 by 200mm mouse tray. The tray sizes are not the deciding factor. Mounting is.
This one bolts directly onto a TR8 Pro or a TRX. The Adjustable Keyboard & Mouse Tray V2 clamps into 8mm T-slot extrusion and suits any aluminium profile cockpit. The Adjustable Free-Standing Keyboard & Mouse Tray attaches to nothing at all, standing on its own base with a 360 degree swivel, which suits a tube rig where you would rather not fix anything to the frame.
