Designed in Finland and manufactured in Estonia, the Tahko, D-shaped wheel is 320mm in diameter and is covered in grippy suede leather. Each wheel includes a wheel side quick release and bolts directly onto any SC2 wheelbase including Sport, Pro and Ultimate.
The button plate features two digital and adjustable magnetic paddles, a single 7–way switch (4 directions, rotary encoder, middle button). Ten high-quality industrial-grade buttons, a rotary encoder and of course, Simucube’s wireless technology.

The entire diameter of the wheel is covered in soft, yet grippy suede leather. This material gives the D-shaped wheel a genuine Supercar or GT look. There’s also a bright orange position indicator stitched into the top of the wheel, so you always know the centre position of your wheel.
The frame of the wheel is constructed from CNC machined steel. The wheel weighs in at just 2.1kg but feels incredibly solid and well made.

Simucube products are covered by a 24-month limited, manufacturer warranty. This warranty covers you against product defects.
If for some reason your Simucube products do not work as expected or in the rare event you experience a system failure, simply contact us and we'll repair your item under warranty.

I haven�t spent too much time with this rim as I bought it simply to have a round rim to partner the Ascher F28, however I will give you my first impressions.
The wheel is solidly built as you expect, the buttons and rotaries feel good and positive to use. There�s really nothing at all to complain about. The �Simucube� button is interesting as it allows you to alter certain profile parameters on the fly such the FFB amount, but I haven�t used it as I�m a FFB set and forget kind of guy, and never feel the need to alter the FFB while I�m driving. However I�m sure this will be a major selling point for some.
The alcantara type material used to cover the rim feels a little rough to me, but after reading around it appears that this was a deliberate design choice by Granite Devices to increase the longevity of the material, and in any case you should be wearing gloves with alcantara rims as they get very manky pretty quickly if you don�t.
The wireless connectivity has been perfect during my use with no dropouts and all controls and buttons registering without issue. No complaints there.
The colour scheme is a bit meh, but I�m not complaining as I bought the wheel to drive with, not to admire.
If you need a GT style round rim to accompany your open wheel rims then this would make a fine choice in my opinion, especially if you see yourself making use of the �Simucube� button to make on the fly adjustments to the FFB.
