Two fundamentally different braking technologies run through the MOZA pedal range, and understanding the difference is the fastest way to choose the right configuration.
Load cell pedals measure the pressure you apply rather than how far you push. The brake input is determined by force. This produces more consistent, repeatable brake points because your muscle memory calibrates to how hard you’re pressing rather than a physical position. The improvement in braking consistency at threshold is immediately noticeable for most drivers. Load cell pedals are the most common reason sim racers cite for their biggest lap time improvement outside of wheel hardware.

The mBooster Active Pedal goes beyond measurement. A built-in servo motor generates physical force responses through the pedal itself: ABS pulses when you exceed tyre traction limits, G-force sensation under hard deceleration, traction control intervention vibration, gear shift shock, and engine vibration. You are not just pressing a sensor and reading telemetry — the pedal communicates back. The MOZA CRP2 is the enthusiast-grade pedal set in the MOZA range and the standard upgrade across all bundle configurations from the MOZA R9 V3, MOZA R12 V2, MOZA R21 Ultra and MOZA R25 Ultra ranges. It replaces the original CRP and represents the current state of MOZA’s passive load cell technology.
The CRP2 uses a dual sensor system pairing a 200kg load cell with a 15-bit angle sensor, capturing both brake pressure and pedal movement simultaneously. This dual measurement eliminates dead zones and delivers more accurate input translation across the full pedal travel. The brake pedal adjusts from 0 to 15 degrees, throttle travel from 15 to 23 degrees, and clutch travel from 15 to 25 degrees, with up to 30mm of pedal face height adjustment and adjustable spacing between pedals. Inverted mounting is supported for drivers who prefer real-world pedal geometry. The CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminium construction and 3K twill carbon fibre heel plate are built for sustained use under serious braking loads

The MOZA mBooster Active Pedal is a standalone active force feedback pedal that can be configured as brake, throttle, or clutch through MOZA Pit House. It uses a precision ball screw and servo motor to generate physical force responses in real time, delivering ABS pulses, traction control vibration, gear shift shock, engine vibration, and G-force weight transfer directly through the pedal structure.
The mBooster operates at 270W peak power with a noise level of approximately 44dB — whisper-quiet by active pedal standards. A 200kg load cell sensor and 15-bit angle sensor underpin the measurement system, and a 21-bit high-resolution magnetic encoder provides precise motor control. All feedback parameters are tunable through Pit House: ABS pulse intensity, vibration strength, vehicle presets, and pedal curve are all adjustable without any mechanical disassembly.

The MOZA mBooster Pedal Set pairs the mBooster Active Pedal with the CRP2 throttle for a complete two-pedal active configuration. The CRP2 throttle provides two spring resistance options for either rapid responsive acceleration or firmer precise throttle control.
