Turtle Beach VelocityOne F-RX Formula Wheel

I consider myself just a casual gamer, my favorite games being racing ones. This wheel has been an awesome addition to my setup. The race inspired design looks great and feels really nice in my hands, with soft-touch materials that make it comfortable. The wheel rotation feels smooth and responsive. Being able to race with this rather than a controller makes the games way more fun. The built-in audio controls are super convenient. I can plug in my wired headset and adjust volume right on the wheel. There are two mappable buttons which are nice. I’ve set them up for my most-used actions so everything is right within reach. The only downside for me is that I can’t connect it to my PC and I prefer to play on it. I just will settle for Xbox when I want to use it.

This racing wheel makes driving games dramatically more enjoyable. The controls feel natural and responsive, and it adds a level of immersion that a standard controller just cannot match. Racing feels more engaging and a lot more fun with this setup. I also really appreciate that it is wireless. Not having cords strung across the room makes everything cleaner and easier to manage, especially in a living room setup. The battery life has been solid so far and reliability has been great.

My husband loves this. Thinks its fun and says it makes you feel like you're in a real live Nascar stock car. He ended up purchasing a chair made for race video games like this so it has even more of the right feel even though you don't have to have that to use this wheel/pedal combo. I thought the set up was only for F1 which would have fine but he prefers the Nascar so thats the Xbox racing set up he bought first. He thinks it's awesome and had never even tried a racing game before until now although he's driven an actual race car at both Charlotte Motor Speedway and Daytona. His buddy on a different coast and he will talk and both get on their games at the same time and race and they have a good time razzing each other and competing. He likes the pedals and says they are sensitive but you get used to them - just like driving a different car. The wheel is sensitive too. He's adapted pretty quickly and even shown our friends 14 year old how to operate them and they're both hooked now. Everything connected well and without hitch. It must be durable because they are competitive, bull-in-china-shop guys and not easy on equipment. We've only had it for months now but its great fun.

This wireless/wired Turtle Beach Racer video game car racing wheel works great! It has 360-degree wheel rotation, a good weight to it, feels sturdy, and is comfortable. I don't notice any input lag while playing racing games on my Xbox One. It has a controller mode for use where racing games don't have wheel support. It also has a 3.5mm audio port. You can use their app on your Xbox to assign different functions to the mappable buttons. You can recharge it with the included play and charge cable and then use it wirelessly for up to 30 hours. But I use it on my lap while wired to my Xbox One with the charging cable.

It is responsive and handles pretty good. It meets my needs, as long as I am around 10 feet from my console. As with another controller of mine that is Turtle Beach, it feels good, but has connectivity issues. I guess it's a design flaw that can't or won't be fixed.
