Trak Racer Cockpit-Mounted Single Monitor Stand (Lite)
A cockpit-mounted stand puts the screen on the rig rather than the floor, which means it moves with you, sits closer to the wheel and holds its position relative to your eyes no matter how the seat is set. This is Trak Racer's compact take on that, and it sits with the rest of the sim racing monitor stands we carry.
It is 580mm wide, built from 40x40mm extruded aluminium, and it takes a single display up to 60 inches on any VESA pattern from 75mm to 400mm. Height, depth and tilt all adjust.
The 580mm width is what makes it compact and it is also its one real limitation, so it is worth understanding before you order.
Key features
- 580mm (22.8 inch) wide centre-mounted design
- Supports a single display up to 60 inches
- VESA compatibility from 75mm to 400mm
- 40x40mm extruded aluminium frame
- Height, depth and tilt adjustment
- Mounts directly to the cockpit rather than the floor
- Fits Trak Racer extrusion frames including the TR80-LITE
- All mounting hardware included
On the rig, so the screen never moves relative to you
A freestanding stand and a cockpit-mounted stand hold the same screen, but only one of them keeps the geometry constant. Move the seat forward on a freestanding setup and your field of view changes; do the same on a cockpit-mounted stand and the screen comes with you.
That matters most for field of view, which only works when the distance from your eyes to the screen is a known number. It also means the whole rig moves as one unit, which is worth having if the cockpit ever needs to be pushed against a wall between sessions.
Compact by design, and what that costs you
The 580mm horizontal profile is what keeps this stand small and affordable, and it is also the reason it cannot be upgraded to a triple configuration later. There simply is not enough width to carry side panels.
If triples are anywhere in your plans, buy a triple-capable stand now rather than replacing this one in a year. What this stand does support is a second overhead display via an optional add-on bracket, sold separately. Have a look at the wider sim racing monitor stands if you want to compare the upgrade paths.
Fitment and display support
The stand needs 580mm of mounting width on the rig and is built for Trak Racer extrusion frames including the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK and the TR80-LITE. Other branded extrusion rigs generally work, but check your frame width against 580mm before ordering.
On the display side it takes anything up to 60 inches on a VESA pattern between 75mm and 400mm, which covers ultrawides and most TVs people use as a single sim screen. Height, depth and tilt all adjust, and the mounting hardware is in the box.
Our expert take
"For a single-screen rig this is the sensible buy. Cockpit-mounted keeps your field of view honest, 60 inches is more screen than most single setups run, and the 40x40mm profile is not the part that will let you down."
"The limitation is the one worth repeating: 580mm of width means no triple upgrade path, ever. If there is any chance you will want triples, this is the wrong stand and the money is better spent once. An overhead second screen is supported via an optional bracket, but that is an addition rather than an upgrade."

Frequently asked questions
Can I upgrade it to triple monitors later?
No. The 580mm horizontal profile is too short to carry side panels, and that is a hard limit rather than an optional extra. If triples are in your plans, choose a triple-capable stand from the sim racing monitor stands instead.
What size screen does it take?
A single display up to 60 inches, on any VESA pattern from 75mm to 400mm. That covers most ultrawides and TVs used as a single sim screen.
Which rigs does it fit?
Trak Racer extrusion frames including the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK and the TR80-LITE. Other branded extrusion rigs usually work, but the stand needs 580mm of mounting width, so measure your frame first.
Can I add a second screen?
Yes, overhead only, using an optional add-on bracket sold separately. Trak Racer's own page lists two different SKUs for that bracket, so ask us and we will confirm the right part before you order.
