Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel System

The Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel System is Logitech’s professional-grade direct drive sim racing platform, designed for drivers who want maximum force feedback accuracy, higher torque output, and a level of realism that goes beyond what accessible direct drive systems can deliver. With 11Nm of peak torque, TRUEFORCE physics-engine integration, and load cell pedal technology as standard in the ecosystem, the G PRO system is built for serious sim racers who have outgrown mid-range hardware.

This page covers the full G PRO ecosystem: wheel system variants, the G PRO Pedals, compatible RS accessories, platform and game compatibility, and how the G PRO sits at the top of the Logitech sim racing range. Whether you’re stepping up from the RS50 or coming from a competitor’s direct drive system, this page gives you everything you need to make an informed decision.

Our take

“The G PRO is the wheel we pull out when someone asks what the best Logitech sim racing setup looks like, full stop. After running it alongside the RS50 for extended periods, the torque difference is immediately noticeable in high-speed corners and under heavy braking. The load cell pedals change your braking technique in a way that genuinely improves lap times, not just immersion. If you’re at the point where your hardware is the limiting factor, this is the answer.”

Choose your G PRO Racing Wheel

The G PRO Racing Wheel is available in Xbox/PC and PlayStation/PC configurations. Both deliver identical performance, torque output, and TRUEFORCE capability. The only difference is platform compatibility. Choose based on which console you race on.

Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel

G PRO for Xbox and PC

The Xbox/PC version supports Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC. This is the version for Forza Motorsport, where TRUEFORCE delivers force feedback generated directly from the game’s physics engine. Also fully supported across all major PC sim titles including iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, and Dirt Rally 2.0.

G PRO for PlayStation and PC

The PlayStation/PC version supports PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. This is the version for Gran Turismo 7, where TRUEFORCE integration produces the most detailed force feedback available on the platform. Also, fully compatible with F1 24, WRC, and all major PC sim titles.

What makes the G PRO Racing Wheel System different

The G PRO is not just a more expensive version of the RS50. It represents a different tier of sim racing hardware, designed for drivers where performance differences at the margins of hardware capability matter.

Key performance differences over the RS50 and entry-level systems:

•     11Nm of peak direct drive torque versus 8Nm on the RS50, delivering stronger and more detailed feedback through high-speed corners and under sustained braking loads

•     Higher adjustability: torque output, force feedback sensitivity, and steering range can be tuned with greater precision for different sims and driving styles

•     TRUEFORCE technology connects directly to supported game physics and audio engines, identical to the RS50 but with higher torque delivering more of the feedback range that TRUEFORCE generates

•     Load cell brake pedal technology via the G PRO Pedals, replacing travel-based potentiometer input with pressure-sensitive brake control for more consistent threshold braking

•     Professional-grade build quality and materials designed for the demands of sustained high-intensity sim racing sessions

The torque difference between 8Nm and 11Nm is meaningful in practice, not just on paper. At 8Nm you feel strong feedback across most driving conditions. At 11Nm you begin to feel the subtleties in feedback that get masked at lower torque levels: minor surface changes, early tyre load shifts, the difference in steering weight between different cars in the same sim. For drivers who have spent meaningful time on direct drive hardware, the G PRO’s additional headroom is noticeable.

TRUEFORCE works identically on both wheels, pulling real-time data from supported game engines rather than interpreting generic controller signals. The difference on the G PRO is that higher torque allows more of that feedback range to be delivered without hitting the motor’s ceiling.

Build your G PRO setup: the full ecosystem

The G PRO Racing Wheel System is designed to pair with Logitech’s professional accessory range. Every component in the ecosystem connects natively without adaptors or compatibility concerns.

G PRO Pedals

The Logitech G PRO Pedals are the defining accessory in the G PRO ecosystem and the component that most changes how you drive. The load cell brake pedal replaces travel-based potentiometer input with pressure-sensitive control: you modulate braking force rather than pedal position. For threshold braking and trail braking, this is a fundamentally more accurate input method that most serious sim racers find immediately improves their consistency. The G PRO Pedals are a three-pedal set including throttle, brake, and clutch.

Logitech G PRO Pedals

RS accessory compatibility

The G PRO Racing Wheel System is also compatible with the full Logitech RS accessory range, giving you more options for building your setup and a lower-cost entry point for adding a shifter or handbrake.

RS Pedals

For drivers who want professional-grade pedal feedback, the Logitech PRO Pedals are fully compatible with the RS50. Load cell braking delivers pressure-sensitive brake feedback rather than travel-based input, which changes how you threshold brake and trail brake through corners. If you’re serious about lap times, the PRO Pedals are worth the step up.

Logitech RS Pedals

RS Shifter and Handbrake

The Logitech RS Shifter and Handbrake connects natively to the G PRO wheel base, adding sequential shifting and handbrake control for rally and touring car sims.

Logitech RS Shifter and Handbrake

RS H-Shifter

The Logitech RS H-Shifter is compatible with the G PRO system, bringing H-pattern gear selection for open-wheel, classic GT, and any sim where a manual gearbox is part of the experience.

Logitech RS H-Shifter

Platform and game compatibility

The G PRO Racing Wheel is auto-detected on all supported platforms with no manual setup required. TRUEFORCE is active in all supported titles on both platform versions.

Platform Platform Key supported titles

How the G PRO fits the Logitech sim racing range

The G PRO Racing Wheel System sits at the top of the Logitech sim racing lineup. Understanding how it relates to the rest of the range helps you decide whether it’s the right fit for where you are in sim racing.

Stepping up from the Logitech RS50: The Logitech RS50 Direct Drive System (/collections/logitech-rs50-direct-drive-system) is the natural starting point for direct drive sim racing. If you’re already running an RS50 and finding yourself wanting stronger feedback in high-load corners, more torque under sustained braking, or greater adjustability between different sims, the G PRO is the step up. The ecosystem is compatible: your RS Pedals, RS Shifter and Handbrake, and RS H-Shifter all carry over to the G PRO wheel base without any changes.

Upgrading from a G923, G29, or G920: If you’re coming directly from a gear-driven Logitech wheel and are ready to invest in a serious direct drive setup from the outset, the G PRO skips the mid-tier and delivers professional-level performance from day one. The learning curve is no steeper than the RS50 and the long-term ceiling is significantly higher.

G PRO vs competitor direct drive systems: At its price point the G PRO competes directly with mid-range direct drive offerings from Fanatec, Moza, and Simagic. The G PRO’s advantages are ecosystem simplicity, platform breadth (both PlayStation and Xbox in a single product line), and the quality of the TRUEFORCE integration in key titles. Drivers heavily invested in the Logitech ecosystem or who prioritise console compatibility alongside PC will find the G PRO a strong fit. Drivers focused exclusively on PC sim racing with maximum torque as the priority may want to compare the G PRO against higher-torque PC-only direct drive systems.

Frequently asked questions

Which G PRO Racing Wheel should I buy: Xbox/PC or PlayStation/PC?

Choose the Xbox/PC version if you race on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Windows PC. Choose the PlayStation/PC version if you race on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, or Windows PC. Both versions are identical in performance, torque output, and TRUEFORCE capability. The Xbox/PC version is not officially supported on PlayStation, and vice versa. If you race on PC only, either version is compatible.

What is the difference between the G PRO Pedals and the RS Pedals?

The G PRO Pedals use a load cell brake mechanism, which measures pressure applied to the pedal rather than pedal travel distance. This gives you more precise and consistent braking input, particularly for threshold braking and trail braking. The RS Pedals use a standard potentiometer mechanism. Both are compatible with the G PRO wheel base, but the G PRO Pedals represent a meaningful performance step up for drivers focused on lap time consistency.

Is the G PRO worth upgrading to from the RS50?

Yes, if you have spent meaningful time on the RS50 and are finding the torque ceiling in high-load cornering or sustained braking. The additional 3Nm of peak torque on the G PRO is noticeable in practice, not just on paper, and the G PRO Pedals’ load cell brake changes how you drive in a way that most serious sim racers find immediately beneficial. If you’re still developing your sim racing fundamentals, the RS50 has plenty of headroom and the upgrade can wait.

Can I use my existing RS accessories with the G PRO?

Yes. The RS Pedals, RS Shifter and Handbrake, and RS H-Shifter are all compatible with the G PRO wheel base. This means your RS accessory investment carries over when you upgrade the wheel base, and you can replace individual components progressively rather than buying an entirely new setup.

Does the G PRO Racing Wheel work with Gran Turismo 7?

Yes. The PlayStation/PC version of the G PRO is fully compatible with Gran Turismo 7 and supports TRUEFORCE, which delivers force feedback generated directly from Gran Turismo 7’s physics engine. At 11Nm of torque, the G PRO can deliver the full range of TRUEFORCE feedback that Gran Turismo 7 generates, making it one of the strongest setups available for GT7 players.

Does the G PRO work with iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione?

Yes. Both titles are fully supported on the PC version of the G PRO. iRacing supports TRUEFORCE, meaning feedback is generated from the sim’s own physics data. Assetto Corsa Competizione supports standard force feedback. Both sims benefit significantly from the G PRO’s higher torque output compared to lower-end direct drive systems.

How does the G PRO compare to direct drive wheels from Fanatec, Moza, and Simagic?

The G PRO’s key advantages are multi-platform support (both PlayStation and Xbox in the same product line), TRUEFORCE integration in key titles, and ecosystem simplicity. Competitor direct drive systems at a similar price point may offer higher torque ceilings on PC-only configurations, but generally lack native PlayStation support and TRUEFORCE. If console compatibility and Logitech ecosystem integration are priorities, the G PRO is a strong choice in its class.
