MOZA R25 Ultra True Torque Bundle
MOZA R25 Ultra True Torque bundle The MOZA R25 Ultra True Torque bundle packs serious power and precision, giving every race a true-to-life fee...
View full detailsThe MOZA R25 Ultra True Torque is the most capable direct drive wheelbase in the MOZA range and the only wheelbase in the lineup with a built-in true torque sensor. At 25Nm sustained output from a zero-cogging flat-wire motor, NexGen Force U1 force feedback, and a torque sensor measuring actual motor output at 2kHz with 0.1% accuracy, the R25 Ultra represents the ceiling of what the MOZA direct drive range currently offers.
Gamer Gear Direct stocks three R25 Ultra True Torque bundle configurations. This page covers each bundle, the technology that makes the R25 Ultra distinct from every other wheelbase in the range — including the R21 Ultra — and who it genuinely suits.
“The R25 Ultra is the wheelbase we point drivers to when they ask what the top of the MOZA range feels like and why the true torque sensor matters. The honest answer is that for many sim racers, the R21 Ultra is enough. The R25 Ultra makes sense when you want the feedback to be tied to what the motor is actually doing rather than a calculated approximation, and when 25Nm of headroom means you are never working against the wheel in any conditions. In a proper rigid cockpit with the mBooster setup, it is the most complete sim rig we have put together from the MOZA range.”
Blake Sterling, Founder, Gamer Gear Direct
Three bundle configurations are available. Each uses the R25 Ultra True Torque wheelbase with different pedal and wheel combinations.

Confirmed specifications:

Every direct drive wheelbase calculates the force feedback it delivers based on a software model of the motor’s behaviour. The model is accurate, but it is still an approximation of what the motor is actually doing rather than a direct measurement. This is how every wheelbase in the MOZA range works, including the R21 Ultra.
The R25 Ultra adds a physical true torque sensor built into the wheelbase. The sensor measures the actual torque being applied to the steering shaft in real time at 2kHz with 0.1% accuracy. Force feedback is generated based on what the motor is physically doing rather than what the software model predicts it should be doing. At low torque levels the practical difference is subtle. At 25Nm, where motor behaviour is more complex and the range of feedback signals is wider, a measurement-based system produces feedback that is more precise, more consistent, and more accurate than a model-based system.
For sim racers who spend significant time analysing telemetry and working at the limit of what their hardware can communicate, the true torque sensor is a meaningful difference. For sim racers who are not yet at the point where hardware accuracy is a limiting factor, the R21 Ultra delivers the same flat-wire motor quality at a lower entry cost.

The MOZA R25 Ultra True Torque Bundle pairs the R25 Ultra wheelbase with your choice of MOZA wireless steering wheel, with the CS V2P as the standard included option. This bundle suits drivers upgrading just the wheelbase while keeping existing pedals, or those selecting their pedal configuration separately.

The MOZA R25 Ultra + CRP2 Pedals Bundle pairs the R25 Ultra wheelbase with the CRP2 load cell pedal set and your choice of MOZA steering wheel, with the CS V2P as the standard included option.
The CRP2’s 200kg load cell brake sensor provides pressure-based braking input to complement the R25 Ultra’s torque-sensor-based wheel feedback. Both systems are measurement-based rather than model-based, creating an accurate and consistent sensory picture at every point in the corner. The CRP2 includes throttle, brake, and clutch pedals, supports inverted mounting, and is fully configurable through MOZA Pit House.

The MOZA R25 Ultra + mBooster Active Pedal Set Bundle is the highest-specification configuration in the MOZA range. It pairs the R25 Ultra wheelbase with the mBooster Active pedal, CRP2 throttle, and your choice of MOZA steering wheel.
The combination of the R25 Ultra’s true torque sensor wheel feedback and the mBooster’s dual 200kg load cell active brake pedal creates the most technically complete and sensory-rich setup in the MOZA range. The true torque sensor ensures the wheel feedback is based on measured rather than calculated motor output. The mBooster’s feedback motor adds simulated ABS pulses, engine rumble, and G-force effects through the brake pedal. At 25Nm, this combination is designed for drivers with a proper rigid cockpit who want the most capable non-professional sim rig available from MOZA hardware.
What’s included:

It is a genuine question and one that comes up consistently when buyers are deciding between the R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra. The honest answer is that 25Nm is more torque than most sim racers will use at full output in most titles. Very few games push a direct drive wheel to its torque ceiling during normal driving.
The reason to buy the R25 Ultra over the R21 Ultra is not that you need 25Nm of peak output. It is that having more headroom means the motor is never working at its ceiling during normal feedback delivery. A motor delivering 15Nm of feedback with 25Nm of available torque is operating more comfortably and more linearly than a motor delivering the same 15Nm with only 21Nm available. The cushion changes the character of the feedback, not just its maximum strength. Combined with the true torque sensor, the R25 Ultra delivers feedback that is consistently accurate regardless of where in the torque range it is operating.

vs the R21 Ultra: The MOZA R21 Ultra shares the flat-wire motor and NexGen Force U1 algorithm. The R25 Ultra adds the true torque sensor and 25Nm versus 21Nm. For most sim racers, including serious and experienced ones, the R21 Ultra delivers more than sufficient performance. Choose the R25 Ultra when you specifically want torque sensor feedback accuracy and the absolute performance ceiling of the MOZA range.
Full range comparison: Compare all six MOZA wheelbases side by side on the MOZA direct drive wheelbases page.
The true torque sensor measures the actual torque being applied to the steering shaft in real time at 2kHz with 0.1% accuracy. All other direct drive wheelbases, including the R21 Ultra, calculate force feedback from a software model of motor behaviour. The sensor replaces the model with a direct physical measurement, producing feedback that is more precise and more consistent at all points in the torque range. The practical difference is most felt by experienced sim racers who spend time working at the hardware’s limit.
25Nm peak output is more than most sim titles will demand during normal driving. However, having more available torque means the motor operates with more headroom during feedback delivery, which changes the character and linearity of the feedback rather than just its maximum strength. Combined with the true torque sensor, the R25 Ultra delivers consistent and accurate feedback across the full torque range rather than only at lower outputs. Whether that difference justifies the cost over the R21 Ultra depends on how seriously you approach sim racing and what rig you have built around the wheelbase.
Both use a zero-cogging flat-wire motor and NexGen Force U1 algorithm. The R25 Ultra adds a built-in true torque sensor measuring motor output at 2kHz with 0.1% accuracy, and delivers 25Nm sustained versus 21Nm. The true torque sensor is the defining feature of the R25 Ultra and its primary advantage over the R21 Ultra.
Yes. The R25 Ultra supports iRacing’s 360Hz direct drive feedback mode, enabled through iRacing settings and MOZA Pit House. This delivers the most dynamic force feedback available in iRacing.
Both the standard True Torque Bundle and the CRP2 bundle include the CS V2P racing wheel by default, with the option to choose another MOZA wireless wheel. All MOZA wheels connect via quick release with no cable management required.
The mBooster bundle includes the R25 Ultra True Torque wheelbase, the mBooster Active brake pedal with dual 200kg load cell sensors and feedback motor, the CRP2 throttle pedal, CRP2 pedal plate and extended plate, and your choice of MOZA steering wheel. The mBooster simulates ABS pulses, engine rumble, and G-force effects through the brake pedal, complementing the R25 Ultra’s true torque sensor wheel feedback for the most complete sensory setup in the MOZA range.
