Just what my husband wanted. I spent some time tweaking and adjusting it for him. Fortunately this rig has many available adjustments. When I finished building the gaming computer, I plugged it in, and he was off.to the races. Not bad for a 72 year old grandma.
Shifter mount is so low any Logitech wheel set will have you reaching below your knees to shift. Instructions were hilariously useless as well. If it wouldn't be a massive undertaking I'd return it for a refund, instead I'll have to jerry rig a way to raise the shifter a full foot above it's default position.
Overall the racing seat is great. Comfortable, solid good rig. However the instructions leave much to be desired. It’s ikea style picture only, except ikea pictures make sense. These are too vague and confusing. The video it points you to for help is not any better. Also the instructions tell you to mount the harness in a dumb place that is different from the picture shown, so just wing it lol
I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife and it is definitely one of the coolest things I own.The rig is sturdy, heavy and very well made. Welds all look good and there is absolutely zero wiggle while playing some of the most intense games (ahem, Dirt Rally 2.0). It took me about 1.5-2 hours to build and it wasn’t too difficult. My only gripe is the seat. It is just “ok.” I wish they offered an upgraded seat with premium materials. The included seat is fairly comfortable but it does feel like it’s on the cheaper side compared to the rest of the rig.The platform has plenty of options to expand it further which is one of the things I really like. If I want to add motion in the future, it’s possible. If I want to add flight gear to it, it’s possible. As you can see from my photo, I added their single monitor stand to hold my 49” super ultra-wide.One last comment about Next Level Racing: Their support is fantastic. My chair had a defective adjustment rail and after a few short emails, they shipped me a new set. No hassle. It’s exactly what I expect from a company selling premium sim gear and I’ll be recommending them to any friends who want to get into sim racing. I love this thing!
