Asetek have pulled out all the stops when it comes to producing the La Prima direct drive wheelbase. Partnering with market leaders Simucube and Mige, Asetek has developed a high-end servo motor.

After thousands of man-hours of development from the ground-up including electronics, software, firmware, mechanics, cooperation, design, test, and validation, the La Prima 12Nm direct drive wheelbase is here. And it produces the most silky-smooth, immersive and realistic force feedback around.

Bolt this wheelbase to your rig and you won’t be able to wipe the smile off your face.

Ultra-realistic and immersive force feedback

All Asetek SimSports wheelbases provide smooth, super responsive, and precise feedback to the driver, where you will feel even the smallest bumps and curbs on the road.

For example, each Asetek wheelbases has a resolution of 0.000085 degrees or roughly 4,000,000 steps in just one revolution of the wheel. With an Asetek SimSports wheelbase you get a true high-fidelity driver experience.

Compact, anodized aluminium housing

The Asetek La Prima direct drive wheelbase packs incredible specs and looks great, too.

The La Prima housing is just 29cm long (including the quick release). So, not only is the La Prima direct drive wheelbase amongst the most powerful and realistic direct drive wheelbases on the market, it’s also compact.

With front and side mount options, you can bolt this wheelbase to practically any racing cockpit including brands like Trak Racer and Next Level Racing.

RaceHub is easily the most sophisticated peripheral software on the market today. You can quickly and easily setup and save profile pre-sets, customize your settings to fit your car, track, and conditions. You can also adjust steering range, bump stop hardness, and bump stop range, adjust overall force, basic damping, and basic smoothing.

Inspired by real-life formula cars, the Asetek Simsports La Prima Formula wheel has been thoroughly designed by racers and sim racers alike to live up to the feeling of real-life racing.

The La Prima Formula wheel includes ergonomic handles, 15 aRGB Rev LEDs, 12 push buttons, 2 seven-way Kinky switches, 3 twelve position rotary encoders, 2 thumb encoders and 2 contactless magnetic shifter paddles. Plus, you’ve got the option to add-on additional shifter/clutch paddles.

La Prima load cell pedal set

If you have been looking for the best race car brake pedal feel, without going full hydraulic, look no further!

The brake pedal on the La Prima pedal set can be adjusted from soft to hard and it will stay that way – unlike many other sim racing pedals on the market, where the hardness and feel will degrade over time. It is not a coincidence a race driver wants a brake pedal, when fully depressed, feels like pushing a wall.

Furthermore, the Asetek La Prima pedal set, while not hydraulic, still offers you the “hydraulic sensation” of a fully depressed brake pedal, where you can still pressure modulate/trail brake thanks to the 2-stage system inspired by the Invicta hydraulic pedal set.
