Flight Simulator Accessories

Flight simulator accessories are the parts that hold a setup together: the clamps, brackets, panels and modules that turn a pile of separate controls into a cockpit. Gamer Gear Direct stocks flight sim accessories in Australia, with local warranty support and advice on what fits what.

Desk clamps and stick mounts

A control that moves while you fly is worse than one you do not own. A clamp grips the desk edge and holds a base steady without drilling anything, which is how most setups start and how plenty of them stay.

The MOZA Flight Base Table Clamp holds a stick base, the MOZA Table Clamp For Yoke does the same job for a yoke, and the MOZA Adjustable Desktop Clamp covers a wider range of desk thicknesses. Measure the lip on your desk before ordering, particularly if the front edge is rounded or moulded.

Cockpit mount sets

Once a setup moves onto a frame, mounting stops being universal. Brackets bolt to a specific profile at a set angle, so the mount that fits one cockpit will not necessarily fit another. This is the single most common thing to get wrong when ordering, so check the fitment note on the product page rather than assuming.

Sets are cut for particular frames, including the Left/Right HOTAS Mount Set for TRX, the TR5 mounts, the FS3 mounts and the RS6 and TR8 Pro mounts. Where a frame is not listed, the Trak Racer TR One Universal HOTAS Mount Set and the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Universal Sim Mount are the flexible options, and the Centre-Mount Flight Stick Bracket puts a stick between your knees.

Panels and control modules

Panels move the switches you use most off the keyboard and give them a fixed place in the cockpit. The MOZA MTLP Panel covers take off and landing functions, the Honeycomb Sierra TPM Module handles throttle, prop and mixture, and the MOZA MA3F Electronic Flight Control Modules come in left, right and centre variants to build out a panel run.

Feel and travel can be tuned too: the MOZA Z-Axis Module adds an axis to a base and the MOZA MRP Adjustable Damper changes how much resistance a control gives back. Throttle quadrants have their own home in flight sim throttles, and the instrument and computer displays are in flight displays.

Adapters, covers and the rest

Adapters bridge the gaps. The MOZA Flight Base Mount Adapter lets a base meet a frame it was not cut for, and the Honeycomb XPC Hub connects Honeycomb hardware for console use.

Covers matter more than people expect if the setup lives in a garage or a spare room rather than on a desk, and there are fitted ones for the Alpha yoke and Bravo throttle and the Charlie rudder pedals. Beyond that there is the desk furniture a long session needs, including a free standing keyboard and mouse tray and a wireless charging station. Complete frames are in flight simulator cockpits, and the controls themselves are in flight simulator controls.

Flight sim accessory FAQs

Will a mount fit my cockpit?

Check the fitment note on the product page. Most brackets are cut for a specific frame or profile rather than being universal, and ordering the wrong one is the most common mistake here. If your frame is not listed, a universal mount set or an adapter usually covers it.

Can I clamp a yoke or stick to any desk?

Most clamps need a flat lip and a certain thickness to grip properly. Measure the desk edge first, particularly on a desk with a rounded or moulded front, because those are the ones that catch people out.

Do panels need their own software?

They connect as separate USB devices, so the sim sees each one on its own. Brand software is where you calibrate, remap and update firmware.

What should I buy first?

Whatever stops your controls moving. A clamp or a bracket changes how a setup feels more than any panel will, and it costs less than most of them.

Can I add panels one at a time?

Yes. Because each one is a separate device, a setup can grow a panel at a time rather than being bought in one go. Plan where they will sit on the frame before the first one arrives.

Buying flight sim accessories from Gamer Gear Direct

Gamer Gear Direct is an authorised Australian dealer for the brands in this collection, so every accessory is genuine stock carrying its manufacturer warranty alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Stock is held and dispatched from our Adelaide warehouse, and warranty support is handled locally rather than through an overseas returns process.

Fitment is worth checking before you order rather than after. Call us on (03) 9961 0240 Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, tell us what frame and controls you are running, and we will confirm the right mount with you.
