Hey there.

If you’ve clicked on this tab, you’re obviously looking for a reason or two on why you should shop for your gaming goodies at Gamer Gear Direct, rather than those other online stores.

And we’ll (not so) humbly say there’s lots of reasons we think you should shop with us…and not hand over your hard-earned cash at one of those big box retailers like Harvey Norman or JB Hi-Fi.

First up, we’ve got a policy here at Gamer Gear Direct we like to call…

100% customer happiness guaranteed (we mean it!)

OK, so the above title might sound a little corny to you, but it’s true.

We’ll bend over backwards to ensure you are 100% happy and satisfied with everything you buy from us.

We want you to tell your friends and family about your experience with us (and hopefully that’ll mean they visit our website, too).

And the only way you’re going to do that is when you’re happy with our service, right?

See, we’re not one of those big box electronics stores with a multi-million marketing budget. Those companies treat you like a number. Because they can afford to! They’ve got money coming out of their ears.

We’re different. We’re a small Aussie business. Every single potential customer that hits our website is precious to us (that includes you).

So, again, we’ll do everything we can to make sure you’re over the moon with your Gamer Gear Direct shopping experience.

Do you think Harvey Norman can promise that kind of service? Probably not.

But look, you don’t have to take our word for Here’s what our customers are saying about us…

Ashley Woolnough says: ‘I want to say a huge thank you to Blake and the team at Gamer Gear Direct. The service has been absolutely impeccable from the moment I first looked at items to the moment they were delivered. I bothered Blake quite a bit, but nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to help me. 5-star service’.

Joe Platt had this to say: ‘Just want to say how awesome the gaming chair is that we bought. Amazing quality, helpful service and the fastest delivery of an online purchase. Arrived Next Day!’

And this from B. Richardson: ‘Purchased an Audeze headset and it arrived inside two days. Thanks for the fast shipping and great service!’

That’s not an exhaustive list, either. There are plenty more happy customer stories we could share with you.

But let’s move on…

Five-star customer support. We’re just an email, phone call or live chat away. We’re here to help you day or night

‘Officially’ we’re around to support you and help you out with your questions and queries between normal business hours (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm).

But just between us…we’re pretty much here to help you out around the clock, 7 days a week.

We don’t switch off. For example, it’s not unusual for one of our team to be helping a customer with a shipping request at 9pm at night.

If you need a hand with anything just email us, call (03) 9000 0545 or open the live chat function and we’ll help you in any way we can.

Shop with confidence! If you don’t like what you’ve ordered you’ve got 30-days to return it. No questions asked (and we’ll even pay the return shipping)

This means if you’re not happy for any reason (and reason at all) you can return your item/s for refund or exchange. And we’ll even cover the return shipping.

That means you can shop with confidence. Again, if for any reason you’re not happy just return your items to us for a refund or exchange.

On top of our 30-day return policy, you’re also covered by a manufacturers warranty. Every product we sell is covered by a minimum 6-month warranty (most are covered by a 1 year or better warranty)

The dead zone is pretty huge, for me playing a karting game with only 180* of rotation, it's a joke. Then again nothing provides stiff enough force feedback to compare to real karting or many real race cars I've driven. I guess that's a good thing, todays skinny weakling video game players couldn't physically turn them anyway so I guess I shouldn't complain. In any case, the dead zone before FFB kicks in looks to be about 10* total which, is a LOT for high speed straights. There's some tweaks but the logitech software is terrible, gives VERY little options to tweak it. I guess it's a Fanatec or nothing. I'll be returning this and putting the money towards my REAL race kart instead. I guess I was foolish to think games had come far enough to be good for any kind of training. Though they ARE good for learning tracks, it ends there.

So My family and I were pretty excited to get this up and running. The last wheel I had purchased was for my PS2, so it has been some time since I connected one. But that last one was also a Logitech so I expected it to go smooth. It didnt. I got everything connected (power and USB) and had everything mounted and ready to go. Push the PS button to turn on the PS4 and, nothing. So I turned it on using the controlled and the wheel sprang to life, but no controls were available and the games didnt see the wheel. Going to youtube, I watched setup video after setup video. Most had me rebooting the PS4 in safe mode and rebuild the tables in it. That worked, but it required that I do that every time I used it. That was unacceptable. I emailed Logitech tech support, and still have not received a response. So back to the internet. Turns out, what they don't tell you is that you have to turn on the PS4 at the PS4 for it to work. DO NOT turn on the PS4 using the controller. I guess when the controller is used the PS4 will not see the wheel. Pretty simple fix, but seems pretty important to include in the instructions.

The RSB & LSB buttons dont work... for anybody. Logitech has not been able to make these compatible with xbox. Are you kidding?Pretty annoying playing Forza Horizon 4.No headphone jack either.Fortunately you can have the xbox controller on simultaneously with the wheel giving you working LSB & RSB plus headphones. The catch is it goes to sleep on you killing the sound... Over time you develop a routine of using the controller for menus, map & retry to avoid sleep mode.As far as the wheel quality and mechanical function goes; there is good reason everyone labels this as the best on the market.Driving with this wheel is pure pleasure. The buttons & headphone routine is a minor inconvenience compared to how nice this wheel is. My biggest gripe with the buttons is I did not know prior. Had I known I would have bought the wheel and just pull the controller out too and taken it as par-for-the-course rather than a frustrating discovery. Hopefully I’ve saved you that frustration here.Get the wheel. It’s damn good.

Well this here is a great starter package no, it isnt the cheapest option out there but i would recommend this to any beginner out there wanting to get into simulated racing its force feedback is plenty strong for the size steering though i find it a bit unrealistic at times unless tweaked in games such as Assetto Corsa (PS4 version) but after adjusting it a bit it feels perfectly fine. The responsiveness of the steering is 1:1 VERY little lag. There is an adequate amount of buttons available for remapping and such more so than the XBox version of this the G920 (rotating knob and plus and minus button on either side of the lower half of the steering) it might feel cheap and more like a childs toy when held in hand until it is hard mounted or clamped to a proper desk or cockpit. This did not come with a shifter at the point of sale however the optional shifter is really inexpensive at a measly $49.99 at th time i purchased but if your one for supercars the paddles should work fine with adequate amount of clickiness and responsiveness though it can feel a bit spongy at times. On to the pedals for a set this cheap i wasnt expecting pedals this good they are machined metal (not sure if it is steel or stainless steel) with varying pressures required to press giving you a real feel of vehicle pedals ranging from soft to hard-ish (gas - soft & brake - varying hard dependent on how hard you press.). They are very responsive no clunkiness or rattling. It comes with mounting holes and.

I'd imagine that like many people I was between the Logitech and the Thrustmaster. I ended up choosing the Logitech, and the first time I felt the force feedback, I was so happy. All I can say is that a wheel with force feedback will bring the games to life, regardless of brand. Three weeks in, I'm still happy with my choice of the Logitech. At the time, the Thrustmaster with the 3 pedal set was approximately a $100 more. Here's a couple reasons why I'm glad I saved that $100:1. I needed to buy a stand. I use the wheel in my living room, and given there's no desk in the room, I absolutely require a stand. At first, I used my ironing board which worked ok--it just moved around a bit and looked terrible haha. The pedals actually stick pretty good on carpet with the fold-down carpet spikes. I'd recommend a stand, so if you don't have a desk consider factoring that into the budget as well.2. Quality seems to be an issue for both Logitech and Thrustmaster. My unit is plagued with a screeching squeak every time I turn the wheel left--this seems to be a very common problem for the G29. It is horribly annoying, but it seems to be going away finally. If I had bought in store, I'd probably try to swap, but its not so loud that I'd take the time to make a warranty claim. Outside of this issue, the unit seems very well built. I can bear the minor screech, and I'm confident in the reliability of the unit.3. The pedals are great. I've tried the pedals very cheap and hilariously bad Thrustm.
