Here’s everything you need to know about the Logitech G923 Trueforce sim wheel and pedal set…

This is force feedback REVOLUTIONIZED- introducing Logitech’s all new Trueforce feedback technology

Force feedback is the term used for the in-game sensations you experience with any half-decent sim wheel. Most of these racing wheels use 20-year-old technology.

Not Trueforce. This all-new, super-advanced force feedback system changes the game.

Trueforce delivers directly rendered kinaesthetic and tactile force feedback - calculated internally at up to 4000Hz - right to your G923, delivering an immersive, real-racing experience.

This tactile feedback lets you feel everything with fine-tuned nuance - vibrational effects, road surfaces, terrain changes, tyre contact, weather.

Kinaesthetic effects let you feel tire grip, bumps, crashes, and g-forces so you can react quicker and win the race.

That’s not all.

The G29 Driving Force racing wheel also features a long lasting, reliable hall-effect steering sensor. This sensor uses magnetic fields to sense the position of your wheel.

Breakthrough programmable dual clutch launch system - for lightning fast launches off the starting grid

Now you take off the line like a pro with Logitech’s dual clutch launch system.

For compatible games you simply set the launch control…line up your car and BANG – you’re away!

Full suite of Xbox on-wheel game controls…and more

You’ve got a full suite of Xbox controls and buttons embedded into the aluminium wheel faceplate. So, all your controls are directly at hand.

On top of the Xbox controls, you’ve also got a D-pad, paddle shifters and 24-point selection dial. This integrated dial lets you adjust traction, torque, brake force…and a whole lot more, right from your wheel.

INCLUDED: New and improved Logitech racing pedal set

The G923 sim wheel also comes packed with a set of racing pedals.

Each pedal is crafted from stainless steel. This is a hard-wearing, rugged pedal set that will take whatever you throw at them.

Plus, this updated set of pedals features an all-new progressive brake pedal. It’s more responsive and more accurate.

The progressive spring mimics the performance of a pressure-sensitive brake system for a real racing experience. Reposition the pedal faces for heel-toe manoeuvres and even more control.

The pedal base also features rubber feet for hard surfaces and a patented retractable carpet grip system help your pedals stay right where you put them.

Hand-stitched leather and durable components make the G923 one tough wheel

Covering the full circumference of the wheel is premium, hand-stitched leather.

The leather feels awesome in your hands and provides extra grip for those intense racing sessions.

Add a Logitech Driving Force shifter and boost the immersion and realism of your racing simulation experience

You've got the option to add a Logitech Driving Force Shifter to the G923 package and elevate your racing experience further.

The Driving Force shifter is fully compatible with the G923 wheel and any racing game you choose. You simply plug the shifter into the wheelbase and you're ready to race.

Hey there.

If you’ve clicked on this tab, you’re obviously looking for a reason or two on why you should shop for your gaming goodies at Gamer Gear Direct, rather than those other online stores.

And we’ll (not so) humbly say there’s lots of reasons we think you should shop with us…and not hand over your hard-earned cash at one of those big box retailers like Harvey Norman or JB Hi-Fi.

First up, we’ve got a policy here at Gamer Gear Direct we like to call…

100% customer happiness guaranteed (we mean it!)

OK, so the above title might sound a little corny to you, but it’s true.

We’ll bend over backwards to ensure you are 100% happy and satisfied with everything you buy from us.

We want you to tell your friends and family about your experience with us (and hopefully that’ll mean they visit our website, too).

And the only way you’re going to do that is when you’re happy with our service, right?

See, we’re not one of those big box electronics stores with a multi-million marketing budget. Those companies treat you like a number. Because they can afford to! They’ve got money coming out of their ears.

We’re different. We’re a small Aussie business. Every single potential customer that hits our website is precious to us (that includes you).

So, again, we’ll do everything we can to make sure you’re over the moon with your Gamer Gear Direct shopping experience.

Do you think Harvey Norman can promise that kind of service? Probably not.

But look, you don’t have to take our word for Here’s what our customers are saying about us…

Ashley Woolnough says: ‘I want to say a huge thank you to Blake and the team at Gamer Gear Direct. The service has been absolutely impeccable from the moment I first looked at items to the moment they were delivered. I bothered Blake quite a bit, but nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to help me. 5-star service’.

Joe Platt had this to say: ‘Just want to say how awesome the gaming chair is that we bought. Amazing quality, helpful service and the fastest delivery of an online purchase. Arrived Next Day!’

And this from B. Richardson: ‘Purchased an Audeze headset and it arrived inside two days. Thanks for the fast shipping and great service!’

That’s not an exhaustive list, either. There are plenty more happy customer stories we could share with you.

But let’s move on…

Five-star customer support. We’re just an email, phone call or live chat away. We’re here to help you day or night

‘Officially’ we’re around to support you and help you out with your questions and queries between normal business hours (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm).

But just between us…we’re pretty much here to help you out around the clock, 7 days a week.

We don’t switch off. For example, it’s not unusual for one of our team to be helping a customer with a shipping request at 9pm at night.

If you need a hand with anything just email us, call (03) 9000 0545 or open the live chat function and we’ll help you in any way we can.

Customer Reviews

Coming from an older Driving Force GT, this G923 steering wheel offers a significant amount of refinements and improvements to the mounting design; I can tell that a lot of care went into the cable management on the underside of the wheel and the clamping mechanism is derivative of older designs; It's easy to tuck away some cable length underneath the steering wheel and it helps protect the connections from over bending.Depending on your level of commitment to sim racing, you do get a great variety of mounting options with this set. For now, I do have this secured to a dining table and it's fine for casual use; There are definitely more secure options with racing cockpits or wheel stands available where you bolt down the set. With the pedal set, I do find that the rubber feet do a good job at keeping the pedals planted and adequate enough for hardwood/laminate flooring.I appreciate the compatibility between Playstation and PC; With installing the G-HUB software on my windows PC, It was pretty straightforward to plug-in with one USB connection required and the software instantly recognized the wheel without issues. For newer games like DiRT Rally 2.0, this is wheel is automatically recognized and can be used to navigate through menus easily; I did find that for some older titles, the steering wheel needed be enabled after launching game and buttons needed to be mapped. There will be some customization required on your end as not all games do support 900 degrees of rotation and driving initially will be wonky; For certain games it is easier to control with 540 degrees of rotation and the customization in the G-HUB software helps quickly adjust wheel settings.Performance wise, I do find that this wheel is naturally smoother and quieter than the Driving Force GT; The large metal paddle shifts have a nice tactile click and good response time; Also, the leather wrapped steering wheel has a good solid feel and weight with secure grips through agressive driving manuv.

Received for unbiased review...I Hope Logitech views this listing...I will start by saying that this product's construction is excellent and mostly very sturdy. It even has leather around the steering wheel. But read on...I have spent HOURS (even days) trying to find games that will work with this device. There are very few because instead of making this controller widely compatible with game controllers, they decided to do everything proprietary. I had to search the web for programs written by other frustrated people to get this device to emulate an XBox360 controller so that it will work with their Windows 10 games. All this did was create more frustration because it messed around with game controller order designations. Designations that Microsoft has decided to hide from view and hide any possible way to change the controller order. Now my other controller will no longer take the first device order, and will no longer work with my games (meaning that I will have to forcibly remove all the drivers and re-install them).I'm angry, because this is a simple thing that could have been easily done in Logitech's overly complicated software called G-Hub. Or in Microsoft's game controller settings (people have been complaining about the controller order issue since Windows 7).Logitech's G-Hub software also failed to recognize the device when I first plugged it in (I have other Logitech devices that use G-Hub). Nothing I did would get it to be recognized. I had to uninstall G-Hub and re-install it.Good luck finding a Game to use with the G923 that won't cost you hundreds of dollars after already paying over $400.00 for this device. Logitech, why on earth would you spend so much time and money designing something that will be so poorly compatible? Larger reach means more sales - doesn't that make sense? This would be easily fixable in your software - add a controller emulation toggle and a device order selector. Most of it feels like a very premium device, but if.

I have about two complete sets of Logitech racing wheels, pedals and shifters collected over the last two decades, all for PC, and they have worked wonderfully. This latest set of racing peripherals offers some extras, and works with PC, Playstation and XBox. The equipment connects through USB cables, and includes a three-pedal floor set (if you're driving an automatic vehicle, you can ignore the clutch!) and a leather-wrapped steering wheel that feels as good as the ones in my cars. The wheel has shifters behind it, and a number of buttons on the hub, spokes, and back plate panel. Installing and configuring the set took less than five minutes and it was recognized on both the PC and Playstation 4 I tried it on.The wheel and pedals are smooth and easy to work with; while my last set of Logitech steering wheel and (metal!) pedals was amazing (for the time), this set is better. Much better. The force feedback is strong when required, and even on routine driving it's got that subtle feel that makes driving a tactile process. The brake pedal is progressive, adding resistance as you press on it. I worked through quite a few games on both my platforms, from F1 to Nascar to WRC and had a blast with each. The wheel needs clamping securely a table to get the best experience, and when properly used and the force feedback is dialed in just right, it's an amazing set of peripherals. This Logitech wheel and pedal set is not cheap by any means, but it is the best built set I've ever used, and based on the fun factor and the amount of time I plan to play my favorite racing and driving games, it's actually a bargain!

The Tech Guy

This G923 is a solid Five Star racing wheel with pedals for the PS5, PS4 and PC the only problem is there are limited games available right now that support TRUEFORCE technology. When playing games without Truefoce support the G923 feels identical to previous Logitech G29/G920 wheels and pedals. The force feedback is decent but rather erratic at times making the whole wheel shake and rattle. Of course you can turn down the force feedback settings but that defeats the purpose of a FFB steering wheel.TRUEFORCE technology on the G923 add many more sensations you can feel through the wheel however you need to have a TRUEFORCE supported game to experience them. The steering wheel will vibrate to simulate the throbbing engine ... the higher you rev the engine the stronger the vibration ... it's a cool feature that add realism to the virtual driving experience. The only thing that would make it even better is to have a gaming seat with TRUEFORCE built into it. That way the steering wheel and seat would both vibrate to the rpm of the engine.Playing driving games with TRUEFORCE support are more realistic, convincing and immersive. After experiencing TRUEFORCE you'll wonder why there are only a handful of games that officially support it .... Gran Turismo Sport, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Grid.Aside from the Wheel Logitech made slight improvements to the pedals ... or should I say pedal. The brake pedal on the G923 gets a progressive spring which replaces the rubber stopper on the G29/G920. The idea behind the spring was to make the brake pedal feel more realistic "Like a Hydraulic Brake" so the more you press on the brake pedal the harder it gets. The new spring loaded brake pedal does feel more progressive initially however once your past the 50% point the resistance is to strong and when fully depressed it feels a bit clunky. While this is a step in the right direction and a good attempt at adding more realism to braking it feels like a first gen product whic.

I've always wanted to own one of these racing wheel made by Logitech. This G923 model provides exceptional next level experience for those games you thought you've mastered with a keyboard. Out of the box, I kind of got shook because it has a PlayStation logo on it and not PC. Looking closer, the one I order is compatible with both. The wheel itself has a nice leather wrap to it that feels like an automotive steering wheel. The only thing about it is that the circumference of the wheel is substantially smaller than the real ones. Perhaps it may be a little to operate for those who are bigger hands and arms. Materials are nice and solid but I'm always scared that the wheel will fall off because when I get out of my seat, I hold on to the top of the wheel to help me up, just like what you would do on a lowered vehicle. The motors on this wheel is nice and strong and truly adjustable both in the Logitech G Hub software and games. The pedals are also adjustable and the feel of it is amazing. Brake pedal is stiff which is nice. I will need to get the shifter for the ultimate rig and have it mounted on a custom frame. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of games supports TRUEFORCE technology as we're in the early stage for this design and am looking forward to other games implement this. Overall, the wheel is outstanding with the driver feedback and will need a lot of tweaking both in game and software to adjust the feel the way you want it to be.Pros:New TechnologyWheel material qualityPedal qualityCons:Size of wheelLimited supported games with TRUEFORCE
